4. Install the App
Log in to your Shopify store and install the Shipink app. Once installed, your orders will be automatically imported into Shipink.
5. Address Field Settings (Optional, Recommended)
Shopify's checkout page does not offer dropdown selection for Turkish provinces and districts — customers enter these as free text. Additionally, there is no dedicated "district" field in the standard form.
Shipink uses the "Apartment, suite, etc." (Address line 2) field as the district (ilçe) value. To ensure orders are processed smoothly, we recommend updating the field labels on your checkout page:
| Default Field Name | Recommended New Name |
|---|---|
| City | İl (Province) |
| Apartment, suite, etc. (Address line 2) | İlçe (District) |
How to Update
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to your active theme and select "Edit default theme content".
- In the search bar, type "Address2" or "Apartment" to find the relevant field and change its value to İlçe.
- Similarly, search for "City" to find the city field and change its value to İl.
- Click Save.
Do not edit text inside curly brackets {{ }} or HTML tags. Modifying these will break theme functionality.
By configuring these settings, you make it easier for your customers to enter correct address information and ensure shipping labels are generated without issues.
